Suppliers

Clients → Suppliers is for the people you work alongside, as opposed to the people who pay you: venues, planners, florists, celebrants, stylists, second shooters, editors.

Adding a supplier

Under Add somebody:

  1. Type Their name.
  2. Add What they do, their Email, their Instagram handle and their

Website — all optional.

  1. Press Add them.

They appear under Everybody you work with, with their trade and how to reach them.

Small, on purpose. This is a contact list with a memory, not a second client list.

The Instagram handle earns its place: it is what you need when you are tagging a wedding at eleven at night and cannot remember whether the florist is @blooms.co or @bloomsco.

Why it is worth filling in

A venue that gets photographs from you, credits you, and sends a couple your way next spring is the best marketing a wedding photographer has.

Sharing photographs with a supplier

Sharing happens from the gallery, where you can pick the photographs.

  1. Open the gallery under Galleries → Galleries.
  2. Under Sharing with suppliers, tick **This couple is happy for their photographs

to be shared with suppliers**. Ask them first — most say yes and like being asked. Until this is ticked, nothing can be shared.

  1. Choose the supplier under Send to.
  2. Choose What they may do with them:

- Social media, with a credit; - Their own website and social, with a credit; - Anything, including print and advertising.

  1. Check The credit you want back — it starts as "Photography by" and your studio

name.

  1. Tick the photographs under Which photographs.
  2. Press Make them a link, and send the link to the supplier.

The supplier's page shows the photographs with the terms and the credit together, so they never have to look up what they agreed to.

Each share is listed on the gallery with whether it has been Opened. Press Withdraw to stop a link working; nothing changes for the client.

For other ways of sharing a few photographs, see [sharing a few photographs](/gallery-sharing).

Did this answer it? If not, ask the assistant — and if it cannot fix it, it passes you to a person.
