Your overview and notifications
The overview
Signing in to your studio opens Home → Overview. At the top:
- A greeting, with your logo.
- Booking requests — enquiries you have not answered yet.
- Contracts to be signed — sent, and waiting on the client.
- Invoices to be paid — sent and not yet settled, including any that are late.
- Finances — what you have invoiced this year, how much of it is paid and what is still to come in, with a bar to show it at a glance. Export downloads your records as spreadsheets for your accountant.
Press any of the first three to go straight to that list.
Underneath, when there is something to show:
- texts to read — replies to your text reminders;
- Needs refund — a payment that arrived for a booking that had already been cancelled or given away, which you need to refund from Stripe;
- Getting set up — the next things to do in a new studio;
- Coming up — your next sessions, with All bookings to see the rest.
The bell
The bell at the top of the panel shows a red count when something has happened since you last looked. Press it to open Notifications.
While you are on Notifications, the bell turns into a close button (an X). Press it to go back to the page you were on before you opened them.

Press a notification to open what it is about; it is then marked as read. **Mark all as read clears the count. Unread** shows only the ones you have not opened, and All shows everything.
Notifications are kept for 120 days.
Your team
Everybody on your team has their own bell, and each person only hears about what their role lets them see. An assistant, for example, is told about bookings and galleries but not payments or orders, and their overview does not show your finances or invoices.
On your phone
The Meridian Photographers phone app opens on My Biz: the same greeting, the counts and, if you can see money, your finances. The bell has the same list and Mark all as read.
Along the top are My Biz, Today, Upcoming, Enquiries and Posing. What you last saw is kept on your phone, so it still shows at a venue with no signal, with a line saying when it was saved. That includes today's shoots with each one's plan for the day, and the whole of Posing. The app is not in the app stores yet.
