Buying

Prices are shown in Australian dollars. All prices include GST, and every receipt is a tax invoice.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

A sale is complete when your payment clears and we issue your licence key — normally within a minute, and automatically. If something goes wrong between those two points, raise a ticket; your payment record is enough for us to sort it out, and you do not need to prove anything else.

What you are buying

A licence to use the software, described in full in the licence agreement. You are not buying the copyright, and we are not selling you the right to resell it.

Support

Twelve months from purchase, through the ticket system on this site.

  • We answer within two business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding South Australian public holidays.
  • We cover installation, configuration, anything not working as documented, and telling you plainly when the fault is ours.
  • We do not cover custom development, conflicts with third-party plugins, or hosting problems on a server we do not run — though we will always tell you which of those you have hit rather than leaving you to guess.
  • After twelve months the software keeps working, permanently and with no loss of features. What lapses is support and new versions, not the licence.

Acceptable use

Do not redistribute the software, publish or share licence keys, or work around the download protection.

If we believe one of those has happened we will tell you what we have seen and give you fourteen days to respond before doing anything. If it is not resolved in that time we may revoke the licence, and in that case no refund is due. We have never done this, and we are not looking for a reason to.

We will not revoke a licence for anything else — not for a chargeback dispute we are still discussing with you, not for criticising us in public, and not for asking for a refund.

If a hosted site goes down

We do not publish an uptime guarantee, because a number we have not measured over a year is a number we would be making up.

What we will do: tell you on the status of your own site in the admin, fix it as the first thing we do that day, and if a fault of ours keeps your site unreachable for more than 24 hours in a calendar month, refund that month in full on request.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for anything arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do:

  • The date at the top changes, and the previous version stays available on request.
  • Changes apply to purchases and subscription periods that start after they are published. They are not applied retrospectively to something you have already bought.
  • If a change materially affects an active subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then with no penalty.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

Did this answer it? If not, ask the assistant — and if it cannot fix it, it passes you to a person.
